    Moving to the OC

I have a job waiting for me down in Orange County, CA, as soon as i get my car up and running again i'm gonna either drive it down or maybe trailor it down with the company truck. I might be living out of a hotel for a while and want to know what to bring as for as toys, might be too busy to play but it helps to be prepared. So how far away is the nearest Mountain? Should I bring my snow gear and what not? Any areas around that's Mt. bike freeriding worthy? What's there to do, i hear azusa is pretty kool. Show me some Love

if you're going to immediately start calling it "the OC" then you'll need to hit Wal Mart for the following:

    Khaki Dickies shorts - size = baggy/saggy
Black or white tapout, fox, or solid t-shirts - size = xxl
White or black tube socks - be sure to pull them up
Black Skate shoes - don't tie them too tight
Large wraparound shades 'locs' - always wear them, day or night, inside or outside
Black Labelwhore hats size xl - be sure to iron the bill flat, in a year you'll be allowed to curl it up
    Buzz your hair
    Plan on getting some tats

    Yeah...

I think that about does it.

Snow is either at Big Bear, or Mt. Baldy. Or those regions, expect a 1.5 hour drive minimum. You are also heading towards the large contengent of traffic, the 405, 55, and 5 are the worst, and the main routes in/out of Orange County. How long til you get here, and how long are you staying?

I figured it'd light someone's panties on fire, as for what city i'm not really sure where i'll be yet, maybe Irvine since my friend might move up to THE ORANGE COUNTY from San Diego. I'll be there withing a few weeks if all goes well, doing cell phone tower maintanance. I'll be making 20/hr plus 1680/month for living cost, not a bad gig really, planning on being down there for about a year or two depending on how fast i get sick of it. 1.5hr driving isn't bad at all that's how far i have to drive to mt. hood from portland.

If you do move to irvine, there are weekly meets @ in n out, I think. There is also the All Euro G2G at the el toro in and out, the last tues or thurs every month.
