I maxed out a rental 1.2l Renault Clio on Auto Estrada A1 in Portugal on the way to see my girlfriend in Lisbon...just before Via Longa (for those who are intimate with the area)

172 kph....downhill...middle lane getting passed by a MB CDI


In May the Hyunday Gets 1.2D was pretty zippy too!

World class tuner. Used to be the roommate of a good friend of mine... who also happened to have a MkIV 800+ hp Supra. Just an estimate as they could never get it to stick to the dyno completely once the T78 kicked in.

Ran out of room in my brother's old heavily modded Corrado SLC, was doing about 144 at the time. terrifying would never do something so stupid ever again. I was all by myself too.

Corrados are so smooth above 100, I wish the 2002 had that.

Fastest car I rode in was my dads friend's 600WHP 993 Turbo. Got up to 120mph like nothing at all. 170mph and the speedo was still moving. Scary stuff.

Fastest car I've driven isn't worth mentioning. :(

Fastest car I have rode in was a 1991 Ferrari 348 Challenge which has been converted back to a street car (of sorts.) He got it up to 165 mph on a fairly short stretch of highway coming going to a local Ferrari event.



Fastest I've driven: A hardly awe-inspiring 120 mph in my parent's E34 540i.

Driven them both... Wussed out at 73 in the 964 3.6 turbo. Hit 120 in the top of third in the GT3, a lot easier to drive. My father was with me both times.

Fastest stock car I've driven was a viper (damn loud and unpractical) and a c5 vette that I rented on my 21st bday with a friend of mine from a local chevy dealer.

I've only been upto 140ish at t-hill, and 124ish in my 318i lol.

I hit 150+ mph (indicated) in my 968 cabrio the year I got divorced, and drove a blown alcohol-burning Chevrolet Monza drag car to a 6:50 time at an eighth mile track.

Hit 145 + in my M3. Also indicated.
