    some pictures from culinary school

    well i know a bunch of you don't give a shit but that's why i posted this in the off topic section.
    here are some pictures of the deserts i'v been making at school. just started, its my third week this week. hope this makes some of you guys hungry! lol. i get up at 5am every day to start baking! its a blast. if any of you guys have ever worked with tart dough you will know it's a bitch! as soon as this shit gets warm it just falls apart.

        Nice, I thought about being a chef for a while, then realized that I would crumble under the real pressure of a kitchen. Pastry Chef though, that cant be too bad.

                          no im going to city college program. the CIA is to expensive and people here in SF have a bad opinion of the place. it is $50,000 to go just to start off. i could get a really nice BMW for that!!! also it is a different kind of program. at city college we work in the kitchen all day making food for all the students who attend the school so we get real industry experience. at the CIA they do a lecture/demonstration tipe of teaching, and while you can learn a lot by taking notes and then cooking that dish once with out any pressure on you to get it out on time you don't really learn how it really is in a kitchen.
                          many people may say, "oh, its city college how lame!" but all our teachers are top notch chefs who have been working at places like the Hilton and famous restaurants around america and europe their whole lives. im loving it!!!
                          for a while i was thinking about going to automotive school because cars are my other passion in life. i diced if i did that it would fuck up my love for cars and after i came home from school i wouldn't ever wan to touch my car again! as it is i hate the sight of cakes and bread. just can't eat them anymore, because i see and smell them all day long.

                            Nice!@! Very nice!! Are you learning to also make entrees and shit like that? Or just pastries and bakery things? Sorry if thats a stupid question but I dont know.
