^ Ah, well, I guess what I was hearing may not have been a misconception after all. I did a little Googling and everyone seems to have their own thoughts on the S70/2 specifications, but no hard facts.

From what I've read, the McLaren's engine shares the S70 designation in name only, and shares no parts with any other BMW engine. BMW used the knowledge and experience they gained from the S70/2 project to design the S50B32 engine to have such high hp/L for its time for a production car.

And Josh, what a sick car. Did you get to sit in it or just stick your camera in the driver's seat?

I just stuck my camera in. The only way I would have climbed in was if the owner had offered, I wouldn't even have asked.

There was some douchebag that did though, he just climbed right in and plopped down. You know, $1.2 million dollar car, no big deal.
