SuperDuper, get a clue.find something a little more informative or opinionated before you post.

ive received calls from a few people that work for Verizon wireless (with my wife) that prompted my actions and reasoning for this post. Wamu was a option to invest their 401k into. and to those that tracked their 401k on the regular to their dissapointment found out they lost a healthy amount of it. if this thread stirred people the wrong way, deal with it, dont worry about it, do whatever it is that gets you through your day. my point was to see if anyone else had misfortune also, and to bring the topic to a discussion.

if the best thing you can come up with is "the only bs on here is YOUR post" piss off, seriously, find something better to do.

Haha, who was the one that started this lame ass thread??? The point is you have nothing to worry about. That is unless you have more than 100k in you bank account...

thanks for agreeing Linus. i already pulled my money out and closed my accounts. it was kind of the final straw as ive been dealing with crappy customer service and charges that made zero sense.

Jeff, just so you know too - I went to Paypal someone today, same WAMU account as before - but I kept getting an error stating I was over my $10,000 limit.

I know this isn't true - I bet I haven't even spent more than a couple grand through PP, and my account is a true checking/debit setup, so no "credit limit" crap would even apply.

to all the BS that was posted on the first page. this thread wasnt a panic "the sky is falling" "r3v is going to be linked to the next depression" type of thread. i just wanted to see if anyone else had heard the same or decided to take any action against it. but i guess since its not regarding anything political its not taken seriously.

I don't at Wamu, but I received a large settlement when my nose was ripped off by a child, and hearing that Merill Lynch was being bought made my ass hole pucker up for a second.
