OBAMA/BIDEN is going to LOOSE this election despite the overwhelming popularity of them amongst youth and Liberals (who are ironically called liberals eventhough philosophically they support MORE GOVERNMENTAL CONTROL - :down:)

you ask "why"? it's because their tax plan. it targets and takes from prodominantly the Baby-Boomer generation, the single largest voting demographic, which simultaneously also holds the title of the demographic group with the highest voter turnout in history, consistently.

Additionally, the democrat ticket's "funding" plans, though spun to the urban masses as concentrating taxation on the weathly "upper class" does not take into consideration that almost ALL farmer/farming families in the bread belt will actually be targeted directly by these tax increases. It costs alot of money to run a farm. alot of money to gear up for the next crop, etc. ...democratic tax plans will hurt farmers, and inturn raise the cost of food nation-wide. If they wanted to truely tax the "elites" then their tax increases should not target people with hundreds of thousands in annual income, but instead those making tens of millions annually. perhaps instead of 250K+ raised by 20%, but 5 million+ in annual income taxed 45%. sit on that for a minute.

The less Government the better. the less war the better. Evil or other Evil. your pick. or start supporting a Tri-partisan group. i don't give a fuck which, read up on them, just pick one.

LOL, wow, some of you guys just don't get it.

Fiorina was an epic failure at HP. Some of that failure was her, and some of it was the chronic HP mentality that persists within that organization. I know many, many ex-HP people where I work (in Corvallis near a very large HP campus). None of them think very highly of Fiorina as a CEO.

However, and this is a big, big important point, she is very smart and spent a lot of years in the upper echelons of the corporate world. She is right. No politician is ready to be CEO of a large, publicly traded company. The differences are night and day. Just being a good leader does not cut it. The tax picture, SEC, and markets make that kind of job something that you have to grow into. You don't just walk in and take over. Revenue recognition, insider trading, market outlooks, squabbling business units, legal issues, hiring and firing practices, etc, etc. It is all extremely complicated and messy.

Obama certainly couldn't handle it. He would be out on his ear faster than either of the republican candidates would be.

So, what Fiorina said was true. Smart people understand what she was saying. She doesn't have the most credibility in the world after her HP days, but she has a hell of a lot more credibility on the subject than anybody here and anybody in Obama's campaign.
