    College Textbook Trades/Buys Thread

Well, hopefully this is alright with the mods, if not then just delete it.

I am one of probably many college students on the board and have many past books that I could get rid of...and then need some books for this quarter.

So I guess put the ISBN down and the name of the book and see where this goes.

    1)ISBN: 0-324-31983-5
    Title: Fundamentals of Financial Management
    Edition: Fifth
    Author (s): Brigham and Houston

    2) ISBN: 0-471-44857-5
    Acounting Principles W/ STUDY GUIDE
    7th
    Weygandt and kieso, and Kimmel

    3) ISBN: 0-13-146391-8
    Macroeconomics W/ STUDY GUIDE
    Enhanced Edition
    Ayers and Collinge

    4) ISBN: not sure but we can figure it out
    American Popular Music W/ 2 CD's
    Edition: ?
    Starr and Waterman

I need some business books but need don't have the ISBN's at the moment.

Yea I know a lot of people started but some people can use this for next quarter or next semester. Might as well have them up here while they are sitting under your bed.

CL is a really good source. I've had a little luck at Half Price Books as well....

If you are nearing the end of the book's shelf life (no pun intended), just sell them to bookbyte . com

Not a bad deal in the end. I waited too long with alot of my books and now they take up space in the closet.

            Good idea.

Too late for income tax class this semester but it'll be used at plenty of schools next semester:
Concepts in Federal Taxation (2009), Murphy & Higgins. Brand new, PM me if you need a copy.

Edition: Whatever you have + 1

              I spent nearly 400 bucks on 3 books and 2 work/lab books.

So what are the chances of some random asshole on r3v selling the same book that I need for one of my courses? I guarantee this thread is going to result in exactly 0 books being sold. No offense Mastrcruise.

No offense taken but I thought it might be worth a try. I guess I might have put it up premature but I think it might help when next semester/quarter rolls around.

I'm an ME major as well. But what makes you think your books cost more than anyone else's?

I'm at the point where I am keeping my books in case I need to reference them later on.
