“What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words, the party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment.

“This abuse of the law for intimidation insults the most sacred principles and ideals of Jefferson. I can think of nothing more offensive to Jefferson’s thinking than using the power of the state to deprive Americans of their civil rights. The only conceivable purpose of Messrs. This is what scares me. Not to absolve any dirty politics by the Republicans, but this goes far beyond anything I've heard of. And the fact that they're doing it so blatantly is disgusting. Did they really think people would not notice?

Well, I guess I'll start my own crap campaign against Obama in NC, since he hasn't called NC yet.

I hope more of those ads go out. I don't care if they are lies, but they can test candidate character and make him answer question at hand, regardless of how stupid and wild they are. Some of those allegations can't be answered with "hope and change".
