Tempo is a company all on its own. no disagreement there.

BUT "The Matador was the only commercially-built, VW aircooled powered vehicle in Europe that was officially sanctioned by Wolfsburg, but not distributed through the VW network." It was built at a VW plant with a VW heart, with Tempo parts and few VW parts(other than the engine).
