a quick FYI the guy was basically doing a favor for a friend who had his reputation ruined by believe it or not a couple of bad body work things in Japan here i will post what he wrote.

"I was fooled into letting this guy work on my car. I didn't care about the price. High or low, I was trying to help a friend of a friend out by giving him(Mike) business. The only bad job I knew about was the one he did in Japan with two cars. After hearing both sides of the story, I thought I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. The conditions in Japan were not sufficient for a good paint job. But on the other hand, there should have been no excuse for a lot of what happened there. It ruined his reputation. He made me many promises and wanted to get his reputation back up to the way it was before he went to Japan.

I thought his skill was at least above average for body work after looking at his previous work. I had no idea he screwed over so many people. We knew him for a year and have only heard/seen good things about him other than the Japan incident.

I've already gotten over feeling like an idiot and learned my lesson. Now, I need to focus on my next move"

You want to take pictures of your car before dropping it off and go over it with the owner/manager of the shop as proof of the condition you're leaving it in.

Then when you go to pick it up and it has been raped you DO NOT except it and take it home. You call the police or somebody.

Oh well in that case, that's not too bad of a job.

The guy who took his car in is an idiot and got exactly what he paid for. He's lucky his car doesn't look like one of those primered hondas with a park bench on the back of the trunk. I mean at least from 20-50 ft. it looks pretty fast and furious.
