Anyone figure out what the hell he was doing with the vertical grinder to the head? Or the slats he made?

I know "Metric Mechanics" use to have a guy that ran the engine rebuilding shop that did the same kind of work. He would make "dimples" in the hemisphere to "make the mixture better."

I guess no one told him after 10 miles, those "dimples" would be full of hot carbon byproducts, that would render hi-octane fule useless.
