Doobie Brothers - Listen To The Music

At work a lady plays 98.7, and I have grown to absolutely love this song. My parents hadn't even probably considered having me yet but these guys were jamming. Great happy feel good song. Just like "Summertime" by Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff and "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" by Naughty By Nature!

    Damn. I feel good.

I used to be in all kinds of dumb shit in middle school. This song was such a consolation to me at times. As funny as it may seem to alot of you all. Fk the details, we can all relate to our respective hard times.

Music is truly an amazing thing. I thank all the artists who have written, performed and layed music that has had positive affects on me and all.

I have a copy of Trafalgar on vinyl.

    It's pretty cool I guess.
Not that I care, of course.

Anybody like Chicago Transit Authority? I think it's the only Chicago album I really like, but I haven't really checked out the others much.

Haha thats awesome. I was in a bar a while back with a couple buddies of mine and "Listen to the Music" started playing. We were all talking about how it was a feel good song then we busted out with air guitar and drums and we sang and pretended to play the whole song. Good fuckin times.

I've always like the DB, saw them on the farewell tour in about 85 or so at Shoreline Amphitheater, it was a good show and they broke it up into the era period stuff. Old stuff first ( with the appropriate band members ) newer stuff later ( also with the appropriate members ). They were adding and subtracting band members all night as the show went on. I prefer the earlier stuff like this below, I find it to be great eight tenths driving music when up in the hills.
