Morning presidential thought

Isn't it funny that that shifty president on the show "24", that does illegal stuff, looks awfully a lot like Nixon. What's up with that?



PS: I am really bored, and was watching 5th season of 24. This is really jumping at me. The way the guy talks, the way the guy laughs. Does any one think that they based character on Nixon?

Ok, that aside. I only saw the first season of 24. And it sucked.

There have been many great on screen "presidents":

a. Harrison Ford "Air Force One" Oh and you get Glenn Close as a MILF in there too. Not to mention Wendy Crewson

b.Morgan Freeman - THE VOICE on the astroid/penguine movie....
c. Michael Douglas - "greed is good" - and the first lady would be "Annette Benning" - If you don't like her, you are gay.

Gene Hackman
Michael Keaton
Bill Pullman
John Travolta
Robin Williams

Go rent the DVD for the "West Wing" - That was a good show. Martin Sheen may have been the best on screen president ever.

LOL, I was talking about casting. I don't see too many shows or movies, where actors resembling real presidents, play fictional ones. Not to mention getting into trouble.

Thought it was weird.

I dunno, I'd be more interested if they hung the flag in the background. Those types of details in Movies/TV show the genius of writers/directors. I like it when small details add up to mean something, rather than just bland writing. I guess thats a meaningless rant.

And Harrison Ford was the best on-screen president. In fact, he's prolly my favorite on-screen anything, and if he ran for President of the real US, I'd vote for him. He could just pretend to be Pres, and be better than most of the politicians that pop up for election every 4 years.
