Has anyone seen previews for "Chocolate News"? That show looks more fucking retarded than the special olympics.

Looks like CC is just going to turn into a stupid fucked up "funny" version of MTV. I thought it was bad enough having to see the colbert report all the time, now I have more shit I need to avoid.

Sometimes I just want to go into a fucking coma for 10 years until all these fucking stupid trends die out.

+1. He definitely borrowed a lot from Jon Stewart, but he has carved out his own niche by being a mock pundit, rather than just a comedic observer. I love both of the shows.

I don't plan on seeing chocolate news though. Doesn't look funny.

Their standup specials get better all the time. And the fact that they air uncensored, unedited content after midnight on Fridays and Saturdays is the greatest thing ever.

I am not a fan of Chappelle show, and Mencia got old really fast as well. Roots of all Evil is pretty funny though. I think it's very hard to have an original comedy show.

Stewart pitched the show, gave many of his writers to Colbert Report. They work hand in hand. Stewarts show is more neutral and genuine, while Colbert is a playing a pundit. Colbert pulls it off really well, and his Correspondence Dinner performance was one of the funniest ever, second only to Lewis Black (very close to me).
