    confused about ordering parts..

should be a fairly simple/noob question..

I have a 1989 325i, but the production date on the inside of the door says 11/88.

I'm ordering a new air boot, and there are two models it seems.
    Which one do I get?

    A. 325i/is/iC/iX, Manual Trans (11/88-12/88 )

    B. 325i/is/iC/iX, Manual Trans (01/89-91)

I don't know if you base it off of production date, or actual car date.

    thanks

go with A, the actual month and date of production.

well the rule of thumb that i usually use is if it's production date is after july that year it is the next years model. not always true however.

Do you not have a picture available of the parts? Buy the one that looks like yours.

This is correct. You don't need any more help.

Yeah, nonth and date of production. Fortunate for us there arn't tons of superscedes on the parts for our cars. But VW has 37 different hoses for the upper radiator for one model, one model year. Poor veedub guys.
