The Howard Stern thing where they attribute McCain policy to Obama: "We should stay in Iraq and finish this war" and the 'nozzle they "interviewed" says "yeah, finish the war"

    Fucking retard.

    Definitely hard of listening.

Ignorance is bliss. And both parties bank on it.

Neither camp cares why their die-hard base votes the way they do. All either of them have to do is keep towing the lines of no new taxes, gun control, right to choose, right to life, hard on terrorists, share the wealth, etc, etc, etc. Those extreme voters can pretty much always be counted on to never consider the other side, much less the middle, because they will not open their minds.

Then there are the ambivalent voters... the Democrats courted women with Hillary and blacks with Obama while the Republicans woo the veterans with McCain and women with Palin. Not that those groups are indifferent to the election, but large portions of the people in those demographics are just as unwilling to open their minds to anything but the candidate most like them. Their votes are cast without thought and both sides of the aisle eat that up like free bread before dinner.

These days there are multitudes of niche groups to pander to with your candidate. Both sides think winning the largest of these groups who will vote blindly is the key to winning... and the people deserve the leadership they wind up with voting this way. Before long, Farmer Hoggett and little Babe will be herding the sheep into pens on the White House lawn.

Because a McCain supporter has never been caught saying or doing anything stupid on camera.

If I don't think you McCain fans are idiots for what those people in Ohio blurted out on camera, why should you judge me based on these beer pong enthusiasts?

Anyone that makes a blanket statement about how intelligent large groups of people are, is an idiot ;)

I think he is pointing out that there are idiots on both sides. People sit and point out the people from Ohio or the other wackos supporting McCain while they sit back and give people the assumption that all Obama supporters know exactly who they are supporting and why they are supporting him.

It goes both ways, so don't act like ALL McCain supporters are those idiots from Ohio and we wont act like ALL Obama supporters are voting for him becasue he is black.

I really can't see the problem with any of that. The McCain supporters were trying to show their support of McCain/Palin. The people on the streets were booing and giving them the finger to show that they don't support McCain. So what? They didn't threaten to kill them, call them terrorists or anti-American. What did they expect?
