In real life, there is much more contrast, the blacks are an almost true black and the whites are a touch brighter

That's cool, Definitely some twisted drawings... Unfortantely my class has been pretty rigid so far... time limits, etc...

You like light play. My teacher would always give me shit for finding shadows and no shapes. He made me dissect images until Picasso would approve. Shitty, but it helped me in other areas, like photography. I'm still a newb but loving the lens!

I was a pretty accomplished sketch artist in a former life, I need to get back into it again.

I'll try and get some of my stuff scanned and posted up later.

Its very true. especially with charcoal. My teacher doesn't give my crap because i'm still in the low class...
