    Computer sound proble, help!

I bought a PCI TV tuner card for my desktop and it came a male to male connector to plug from the Line Out on the card to the Line In (blue) on my computer motherboard. I did that but there is no sound coming from the computer when I load up the Tuner program, I have sound otherwise though. The Realtek control panel will not let me turn up the volume on Line In for the motherboard and neither does Windows volume control. But if I plug in my speakers directly to the Line Out on the TV card, I get sound fine.
What teh hell is going on here?

    EDIT: Problem, not proble

You're not supposed to be able to turn up the sound to a line in port. That would be like changing the volume on a microphone. What would be the point?

Also, it's most likely a problem with the drivers or something. Check the website of the tuner card manufacturer for the latest version.

I have. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it a few times, the company has a program that deletes everything that has to do with it.
