Just to clarify, Hitler and Nazi Germany were fascist. Fascism is the extreme right of the political spectrum. Socialism is the extreme left of the political spectrum. Obama is not a socialist but he is left leaning. McCain is not a fascist but he is on the right. Therefore, it would make more sense for McCain to be in those picture as his views are closer to those of Hitler's than Obama's are.

Notice the placement of communism (aka socialism) and fascism (aka nazism). Then notice where they are relative to the "left" or liberal side of the graph and the "right" or conservative side of the graph. McCain's views would land him somewhere near fascism in the bottom right square. He is economically conservative as well as socially conservative. Obama's views would land him somewhere in the the top left, as he is economically and socially liberal. Curiously, Obama is not even in the same square as communism. That is because communism is highly authoritarian when it comes to social issues. You should really educate yourself on the differing political, social, and economic viewpoints the world has to offer. You should do this before you attempt to argue like you know what you are talking about. Who's the idiot?

Why yes I am in fact. I seem to be one of the only people on r3v that can actually argue in a proper manner. I utilize reason and empirical evidence to argue a point and make logical conclusions. I choose not to allow my emotions to take over arguments like many people do. In fact, often times I argue for a point of view that I don't necessarily agree with just to point out the logical fallacies that other people make. The ability to do Philosophy really is a wonderful skill.
