I might get myself a custom neck from warmoth to finish off my frankenstrat. Other than that, just some strings and picks. Although my tubes are due for replacement.
If any of you need music gear, check out humbuckermusic.com. That is my son's business and he ships nationwide. It will also help put my grandchildren through college. He is also a car guy like the rest of us.
I was about to post about the BOSS blues driver pedal I just bought but I see it's in your pics. I absolutely love it, I have an epiphone Les Paul playing through a Fender Junior Blues tube amp. And by the way, is that a Firehawk? Beautiful guitar. I'm still a newb at electric but getting better quickly
Im about to give my dad a Squier bass for Xmas. Its been his life dream to learn bass guitar and I hope to christ I can help him out with that. He keeps saying that he's too old to learn and all that bullshit. I dont think he has the self esteem to try and make the effort. Which is VERy rare for him to not have confidence about something.

Father/son jamming is great if you have similar tastes :D
here's a cool shot of the amp I have, taken by someone who is not me:

Yes, I enjoy the blues driver a lot. My keyboard amp doesn't do anything else I play on justice though so that is the next step...
And that guitar is a nighthawk. It is my favorite guitar. I love it.

I'm thinking about picking up an acoustic guitar to toy with. I haven't the slightest clue what I'm doing though.
I was thinking about buying a Little Martin (cost about $280). Mostly because I hear good things about Martin, and I travel a lot. The reviews I read say that its got a big sound, and shouldn't really be taken less seriously because of the "little". Any one have any experience with these? Would I be better off with something else?

There are a lot more small, reputable luthiers making acoustic guitars than electric guitars. Furthermore, there isn't an established "sound" that's desirable and associated with a maker - it's rare to hear someone saying "I want a guitar that sounds just like a (acoustic guitar brand)". Go to a guitar shop, and play around with a few guitars. Grab a couple in your pricerange, find something you like about their sound (bright, rich, hollow, various sound-y adjectives), and ask the sales guy what makes them have that sound (and if he can find you some other examples).
Acoustic guitars are a lot more personal than most electrics - it's the sound, not the name on the headstock. Picking one that you'll enjoy is akin to getting a suit tailored :)
