This sucks. this summer @ ~4$ a gallon i was driving. now im up in seattle and havent had to buy a drop of gas, and its dirt cheap

in san fran its all over the place. yesterday a saw a shell that was selling gas for a bit over $3 and the two other gas stations a block down the way were selling gas in the $2.50 range.

Yep, and then a couple of months after that, it will go back down again. Not to as low as it was, but still low. Then it will go way up again once summer hits. It will stay high all summer, then drop again way low. Then a couple of months after that, it will go back down again. Not as low as it was, but still low. oil spiked 7 dollars today - don't get used to it. I predict 100+ dollar a barrel oil in the next 4 months again at this point.

Cheapest here is $2.43. We filled my wife's van up a few days ago for $47. 2 months ago, it was $82.

That doesn't seem too bad really, a few months ago I was paying $4.20+ a gallon for Ethanol free gas for the E30.

Saw $1.87 for 87 on the way home.

Not sure about 91 yet, I haven't found a conveinent place on my route to and from work yet to get corn free gas. I try not to run E10 in the E30 if possible. I'd do the same in my beater, but back to the conveinence thing. I'm not going to drive 20 miles out of my way for it.
