we do it for our labs. it's great. best diet for them really. dogs do not need a balanced diet like humans. read up on it. and it's not too expensive either. search on-line for a coop that buys in bulk to keep costs down. we get premium grade organic food from Oma's Pride in CT but you need to order at least 500LB, so we have a coop of 4-5 people who order together. Cost is approx $150 for 3 months of food. cheaper than dog food and much much better!
What kind of dog? PM if you have questions.Leave a comment:

Also, you have to find a way to balance a dogs diet. Theyre like humans, all of their diet can not be protein. It has to be some carbs, this amount of fat, that amount of Amino Acids, etc etc etc. If you dont do it properly, it could end up being a detriment to your dogs' health. Again, Id stick with good food. And may be supplement in some raw meats.Leave a comment:

Its good for the dogs... but it'll be expensive. There are some quality foods out there with no corn or fillers that are also great for the dogs. I believe good dog food is grade C meat... Taco bell is grade D (IIRC). So they eat better than most on here as it is lol. I personally wouldnt waste the cash, and would just buy good quality dog food. Feed some meat snacks maybe... Feeding Raw meat to your dogs?
What's your opinion on it? I'm thinking about turning my dogs diet to this BARF(http://www.barfworld.com) diet I'm reading about. But I would like to see what you guys think about it. Please no stupid posts.Tags: None
