To be frank, as a detective acquaintance of mine stated last night-"it just shows how fuckin' stupid these rednecks are that say they want to kill him-he's been standing out in the open with almost no security for months now. An easy target. Now, not as much...."

Security is a lot more insane compared to when other presidents were shot. I helped out doing video tech stuff at an Obama rally back in May or June and even though I had a pass, the secret service wouldn't let me in or out of the building to get cables and other stuff I needed that was just outside in a van. It was a pain in the ass. Now that he actually IS president, I imaging you won't see him much except on TV, especially with the idea of assassination in the air.
