I like arguing politics as much as the next guy, I'm just laughing at the double standard that we seem to have here. There are a few posters who have many incredibly ridiculous, wrong, and completely inappropriate comments about Obama, but for some reason it was ok because the majority of people who participate in political threads here on r3v seem to be of the republican persuasion.

Its a good thing most ppl on r3v are Republicans! that makes me happy!:)

And true, that people bust on Obama, but i'm just saying the original attack that began this thread was "in bad taste" if you take my meaning, something that is kind of like "a hit below the belt", like offensive on a level that even turns off Obama supporters.

And thats fine if thats your opinion of me. I really don't see why anyone is angry here. Don't feel bad for McCain, he's got his millions of dollars, his significantly younger wife, & his mom.

Simply put, I'm just not a fan of McCain & Palin.

Besides, I made this thread to stir up controversy because thats always fun! :D I don't hate any one on this forum any more than I do before this election.

controversy is fun! but i think we can argue about something more mature than whether McCain would have rather died in Vietnam or not. we can argue, for example, how McCain's war experience could have helped him, or why Obama's policies might be disagreeable (to me at least) or why McCain's policies or ideas might be dissagreeable.

for example, this didn't get talked about much during the campaigning, but i fear greatly what Obama will probably do to our gun rights. There is something to argue about!
