I'll make this short. My power was out today for an hour or so, and now that it's back, my computer is pissing me off. First of all, I can't load specific web sites like espn, or the state site that I need to download my work. They work fine on my lap top.
Secondly, I have a CD drive and DVD burner, a normal hard disk and an external hard disk. After the power outage, the external drive is assigned F instead of G, and some phantom CD drive now has the drive designation F. It's pissing me off because all of my music and work files are on there, and the shortcuts I have for them are now useless. So where does this non-existent drive come from? In the device manager, it only shows the two that are there, not the new one.
Halp please; thanks.
