I was in Tokyo for 2 weeks in August, and just realized I never posted any pictures on this forum, but don't feel left out, there's more pics below than any other forum got ;). I'll start with the cars. If you're looking at any of the pictures and think "what's so special about that?" Look closer, unless you live outside the US, then it might not actually be anything special.

Now onto crazy non car pictures. We met a bunch of people from other countries while we were there, a brother and sister from Holland, a guy from Australia, a K1(UFC) fighter that holds the record for the fastest knockout in China, a guy from San Francisco that went to Burning Man right when he got home, some very English guys, and some others I'm sure I'm forgetting.

The trip was insane, every day was something new, and not in the way most people talk about, like oh a shrine, I mean something really new. I'll try to sum it up
-Drank literally every day, I was underage at the time, but they don't care, beer and liquor at AMPM down the street, and in a vending machine in our hotel
-Partied with a bunch of Yakuza at a club, they carded me but let me in
-Met a chick at said Yakuza club, took her out, ended up at a Nigerian gang bar(lol) ended up ditching her there, and sleeping on the street in Shibuya in 3 places until the trains started again. Got woken up twice by cops to tell me not to sleep where I was...
-Got forced into a strip club by Nigerian gangs, but hey, saw some titties and it was free. They sat down a stripper with each one of us to try to convince us to uh, do things, I got stuck with some nasty black chick, we left
-Karaoke, just not something I do...
-Ate whale sushi(wtf?)
-Wore costumes at a party with a bunch of rich people, then walked 2 miles to a club in said costumes. Moved to another club, and my friends got in a big fight in the street
-Watched a bunch of people protest US military presence in Japan right outside our hotel, I walked up and picked out the words "American" "foreigner" and "here" so I left...

There was a lot of other things, I'll update as I remember them...Crazy trip, literally the best two weeks of my entire life, the whole trip was with my four best friends for a long time. Actually makes me sad to look at all the pictures...

At some point we decided to dish out $150 to go to a party on a 20th floor suite, it was a charity event held by these super rich guys, they all owned multiple big businesses. At one point during a raffle, someone won a free dinner at a nice restaurant, and another guy says "I just bought that restaurant"

You aren't allowed to take pictures inside apparently. They take their clothes really seriously. They only get in a small amount of new stuff at a time, so when they get it, there's lines, the second time we went to get a hoodie, they were only letting in ~5 people at a time, pretty much one employee per customer.

Yea, these pictures don't even show close to everything I saw. Just what was stopped and easy to get a picture of. I actually saw two T.M. Evo 6s, one is pictured, and a couple 22b STis(the widebody ones), and a modded Lamborghini Diablo SV, the cars were probably the most amazing thing there to me...

Shirt my friend bought

Irony, I actually have this same shirt but in Navy blue. I had to have it after having seen the grin on the bear's face and the fact that the characters on the shirt roughly translate to "bear claw". I picked mine up in the Chinatown area of Yokohama. Thanks for sharing your experiences, brings back personal memories from my many trips to Nihon.

Looks like you had some fun. I got to go for a week in high school, but because it was a school thing, I didn't really get to do anything I wanted to. Being there only a week didn't help either. I still had a good time though.

$4000 a piece is good? Or are you being sarcastic? I'm a bit drunk right now still.

Yea, it was SO much fun. I've known plenty of people that went for school and exchanges, and it doesn't even compare. It's just amazing being able to walk around wherever you want, whenever you want, and there's always people out, we were going to clubs almost every day, Tuesdays or whatever, and there were always people there. I got numbers from 4 girls while I was there :D basically every time I went out I met a girl. It's just not the same when you go there to "learn" it's a completely different experience. I don't know if I mentioned it, but I'm planning to move there after college.

Everything is so safe, I was laughing when I read articles saying not to be afraid to go down the "deepest and darkest allies at night" but they're serious, you feel completely safe at all times, the only fighting I saw was between us. We even met some Yakuza, and I met some Nigerian gang members, and they were all cool as hell.

i enjoyed seeing all the tommy kairas (sp). it's been said but i'll say it again, we really get shafted on the cars that we get here.
