Painting my room, want to add subtle BMW/Motorsports touch, share not bad ideas plz.

    Hey fellas,
I'm gonna be painting my room in the next couple of days and wanted to pick your brains about something. I wuv me some BMW's, and would love to have something in the room as a little shout out/reminder to the cars I like so much, whether it be roundel themed or M stripe themed or what.

Anyways, if anybody has put any thought into this and has a cool idea please let me know. The room is light blue now which I'm really sick of, I think I wanna do the walls white (like my 3 alpine white bimmers :)). Maybe I'll pinstripe the window sills/moldings with the M flag colors? Or do a checkered flag ceiling rather than floor?
All of my ideas are bad, help me out alright.

    thanks
    -Sam

A while back, I painted my room to my liking. Now, 30 years later, the room is STILL painted like that, and it's embarrassing when I go home to visit. So when planning your decor, keep in mind that you may have to look at it for a long, long time.

It will end up looking stupid unless its a game room or garage then it might turn out ok. The most I would do is real thin pinstripes with the tri colors but then no one will will know what they are and ignore the blue while complimenting your purple and red stripes. I think an M flag pattern across in the inside of your door would work otherwise Stick with the posters and a few nice die cast or a clock something of that sort.

Maybe some Roundels bunched into a corner? Don't know how to explain it really :???:

yeah walls in M colors was the first thing to cross my mind, and the first idea I shot down.

I think thin pinstripes of the M colors are the only way to go if I'm insistent on doing this. When I have a bare white room I'll visualize and see what I think of it. hey...maybe I'll 2 tone the walls like an industrial building with a darker color down low to hide dirt, and do a thin M tri-pinstripe seperating the two.

u could do the M stripes on a corner of the room by the ceiling. just paint them at a angle from the ceiling to the corner.

Get some old grilles, with some sealed beams. Change the lights to something dimmer, mount it on the wall.

you'd need a dimmer switch for when you bring the ladies up to your room.

I did this a while back and it was a pain. It turned out nice and classy. BMW people know what it is and love it and regular people (we call them normies) think it is nice.
