HAHA Bring your wallet Land in MT especially the western part is stupid expensive anything even close to glacier or yellowstone that is bare an has ele, and phone, service any where close is 20-80k an acre if not more. This is the land of the rich second home or third or forth, I am renting a place for now if the property prices dotn fall back to earth soon I will be going north and west either into or dam close to ID. Pretty much anywhere in the rockies good land is stupid expensive. You can do ok on finding something off grid but then you have the whole power issue.
