    anyone here into woodworking?

    i was thinking of making my son a wooden wagon for xmas. anyone have any plans or recommendations on books?

        That was my plan last year for xmas.


        But I figured after the time spend building it and money spent on wood to just buy a plastic radio flyer wagon from walmart for 80 bucks (it kicks ass by the way) that my daughter loves just as much and I can leave outside and let my daughter and future kids and her friends put a million miles on it and beat the crap out of it.

          dude, thats so rad. nowadays everyone just buys their kids random junk..which isnt bad all the time, but if youre able to make something..DO IT! i want to see this pop up in the project forum :pimp: take pics of the progress and steps!

            I've been known to do some wood working. Made my girlfriend a really cool back scratcher out of 5 different kinds of wood most recently and have done some wood turning and other various stuff before. Can't recommend any books though, I learned everything from my dad and from figuring it out myself (and New Yankee Workshop for that matter).

              i will donate my ambulance siren and a set of super oscars if you can run a couple motorcycle batteries on it carl. my kids had big wheels with rallye lights and batteries on them when they were kids. they would rip it at night thru the neighborhood
