My first e30 related injury

So I was working on tunning my afm when I start to hear a hiss from the radiator resivior then boom/shhhhh.

I didn't loo at my temp guage and see that my car was overheating. I didn't think anything of it cuz I've been driving it all week with no problem but I guess some air got in the system. Did some research and found out that the water in the head can get above 400 degrees.

I felt like I've been burned by pure flame. I have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree burns on my arm and hand. I can't get a picture on the forum but I can send who ever a pic msg with the cell if u wanna see...

It was horrible. The pain didn't come until a good hour after the burn because immediately after I went and popped like 4 tylenol pm's. Put it in ice and headed to the emergency room. I swear there was more traffic than ever. I was breaking down in tears and hollering all through the hospital. They had to give me 2 shots of morphine in the ass and arm just so I can bare the pain. then 1k grams of vicodin and I was still in pain. It all hapened yesterday. then today I woke up and I had huge layers of skin with fluid under just bursting all over, it made me vomit...

Well i'm still high off all the drugs they gave me so sorry the story is still incomplete. I gotta get up to see the plastic surgeon tomorrow... I'll bring back the news

I took a faceful of hot coolant when the Ford Exploder I was working on decided it was time for the heater core lines to disintegrate. Not fun, but it wasn't nearly as bad as yours.

That sucks. Hope it goes all good. Atleast you'll have a scar, those are fun. Buddy had a drill bit snap and hit him in the arm, went down close to the bone, created a badass scar which he did a tatoo around, made it the eye and when he moves his arm the eye gets distorted differently. Make the best of what happens.

I knew a guy with the clap back when i worked at a car lot here. He was telling people almost like he was bragging. Anyway the point is, his story was every similar to yours... except all his burning was urine related or something.
Anyway good like fixing your burns and broken peepee.
