    Sure. I can respect that.

Kinda funny, because I went to get a physical about 2 months ago probably. My doctor told me I needed to lose weight. He said my BMI told him I was OBESE. Im 5'8.5 and 206 lbs. I informed him I worked out 6 days a week, ate healthy, was 10-12% body fat, depending on what monitor you use. And he said it didnt matter, I was at a higher rate or cardio vasular disease in the future.

I always thought it was healthier also. Either we're both wrong, and hes correct. Or he has this dinosaur way of telling if a person is healthy or not, and he should adjust it.

I was kidding about the roids though. I'll never get into taking those. Im a little proud of never taking roids.

you let me know and i'll give you a shopping list ;)

getting pissy because someone has an informed and slightly different view from your own is not the way to handle things.

    agree to disagree?

it is like this argument i have heard over and over again.
coming from people who do drugs (smoke pot, do coke, prescription drugs) or who constantly drink excessively. "how can you do steroids? that is so horrible and bad for you. steroids are just dirty!"

"and doing what you are doing is good for you isn't it?" "at least i gain something healthy from doing steroids" "what does shooting smack do that is good for you?"

there is always going to be people that abuse substances, no matter what they are or their proper uses are. ultimately you are responsible for your own actions and must face the consequences for them.

no matter what suicide is not a way to handle your shit!

i can always tell when summer time is coming up because most of the regulars at the gym that are in there early 20's (still too early to do steroids BTW) all of the sudden get huge. they all clamor around in little groups talking about their pump ETC. then by the end of summer they have shrunk back down to their norm size. that is doing it for vanity, nothing more.
No shit you have to work out. But yes, if you work out, you get MAGICALLY HUGE. I'll tell you that there arent many who work out more or harder than I do (that I know, or see at the gym). He definitely did not. Ive worked out with him, he lifted heavy, but not as intense as he could or should have. And I dont give a fuck if you have to work out as hard as ever. The fact is you are still on a substance that is illegal in the states , and gives unfair advantages. Fact: If you didnt get a totally unfair advantage, people wouldnt take roids for the consequences they will pay in the long run.But Im Glad you are the resident roid expert, I'll PM you when I wanna do a cycle.

Now when a bodybuilder/powerlifter takes steroids to enhance his performance to gain an edge, isn't it the same thing? I mean they already have to train like crazy to get where they are right, just like Tiger Woods?
Absolutely not. What Tiger Woods has is a god given gift. If he were taking pills for his 20/15 eyesite, then sure, its wrong. IF there werent any advantages, then everyone would run as fast as one another, throw a ball as far as one another, hit as hard, etc. Its the fact that it is a god given gift, which makes it special.

There are guys out there who can get HUGE quickly. Then there are guys (like the guy I work next to during the day) who cant gain weight. You should see how he eats, its disgusting. But hes still 140 lbs. I can get bigger than anyone I know, quicker than anyone I know (naturally). But I have a hell of a time getting lean quickly, I really have to bust my ass. But I have friends who are naturally lean, but cant get as large as quickly. So they really have to work to get big.

My feeling is its the advantages that god has given (not to get too spiritual), along with hard work, that gets you where you want to be, and thats what makes it awesome. The same goes for those who are great at engineering, those who are awesome wives/husbands, etc. Some people have their "calling" or their niche. Taking this substance totally takes the natural joy out of it. JMO.

One of them is a GM of a major gym. He works out 2x a day which I give him huge credit for and he goes on the juice shortly before a competition. He says if he didn't get that little extra edge he wouldn't be in those ranks for builders. So I guess I can see why guys resort to it for competitive reasons.

Hows that? Ok, so you have this man who is taking roids. How much credit does he get for having this awesome body? IMO, very LITTLE credit. Maybe its envy on my part, because I wont take that step. Im kinda lucky I guess, because I can get big quickly (sadly I can get fat quickly too). But if you juice, then you're just a cheater who cant get big enough on your own. The very few exceptions are Johnnie Jackson, Jay Cutler, and the ones who stack some real cash. I guess thats why there are natural and non natural body builders.

Ive had a friend who got HUGE, and he took roids. I used to always hear shit how he got bigger, he was larger than me, he can lift more, blah blah blah. He never once admitted to that person would say anything "Thats true, but I cheat and use roids". Just my opinion, but juicers who do take the roids, and lie about NOT taking them, are waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles ass losers.

this subject is fascinating to me. The guys I know that stack are competitive body builders. They also all have a vast difference in the severity of the injectable they use. Some of them over look the side effects for bigger gains and some use a milder type to avoid side effects with decent gains. I always looked down on guys that juiced but my opinion has changed to a middle ground stance since I've educated myself on it and met many of them.

IMO (notice I said IMO-I have no factual numbers) a big percentage of "mentally ill" are whiney crybabies who's mommy and daddy babied them too much. Stop raising whiney ass crybaby kids who can't handle any pressure. And then when they do have a crises they put them on some sort of drug to "fix" the problem.......

constantly doing steroids without competing is a self esteem issue.

doing steroids and doing competitive body building is a FACT OF LIFE. anyone who tells you otherwise is full of shit.

working out, lifting, eating clean and exercising and occasionally doing steroids, is not a self esteem issue if you use them as part of achieving a goal. you must do proper pre and post cycle, and not abuse them. most that have been working out /bodybuilding for any length of time have done them at least once in one form or another. (pro-hormones are just "designer" steroids that have been repackaged to get around FDA regulation. they are actually more dangerous than the real thing in most instances).

yes i have done them before, i can tell you first hand what it is like.
i used them to get over plateaus or break through when you hit the wall training. i used them when i had tried everything else with out any success. i did the cycle then continued to train hard until i hit the next insurmountable wall.

i let myself get fat in HS to the point where i went from a 32" waist to a 38" waist. being 6' tall that makes me a fat-o-potimus. i started training hard and seriously when i was 22 after 2 years of getting back into shape. my goal was to get back up to the 240LBS i was fat, but in lean-ish muscle. when i was 30 i achieved my goal through 95% hard work and 5% chemical help. if i had not caught on fire, i would still be at my maintenance weight of a pretty lean 225 LBS.

i never wanted to compete. i could care less about the attention (although it is/was nice). it did help me out bouncing. i does feel good to work out and i miss it dearly. when it becomes a part of your daily routine it is just something you do. you miss it when you stop though.

doing steroids will not cause you to have any abnormal behaviors that were not there before.
if you were and asshole without them, you will be a super asshole when you are on

True, like i stated, " I don't understand why people do this"

Personally for me the one time things got overwhelmingly bad, I just considered moving away and starting over.

life is hard for a reason, just put your head down and plow through the hard parts. There are only hard parts in life because there are such amazing, good parts of it. It is dumb to end your life when the good stops. There has to be fucking balance.

Sorry i just have no respect for anyone who kills themselves
