WOW - thanks for the link. That thing is cheap. I smell the end to physical media soon.

EDIT: Looks like it doesn't have networking so you'll have to sneaker net it over with a USB device.

I am just going to plug an external hdd next to it. It has 2 usb ports, so one for usb stick.

I back-up all my downloaded 700Mb files unto a hard disk, and play them from my PS3 in HDMi. Is that device doing the same stuff?

Yes, plug in an external hdd or usb-stick and play. Should arrive on wednesday so I'll see how it goes.

I'm a big HTPC user, and I think the number one issue I see with this product is the lack of any network connectivity. I probably spend just as much time streaming media off of my HTPC as I do watching content on it.

Well, I've been using mine for a few days now and I love it...

So far no problems with playback at all, runs cool, doesn't get hot and no hick-ups.

I have one too, and honestly all i use it for is TopGear amd the office. Works great.
