this is what they say about it.
I bet it analyzes at huge alpha acids content but there isn't that much perceived hoppiness to DFH 120 minute. The sheer amount of sugars needed to get to 21% ABV results in a treacly, oily mouthfeel that Mr. blunt felt when I dumped nearly four tablespoons of throat yogurt on his eager tongue.

The mouthfeel is representative of the style, but not as well-integrated as others.

I'd prefer a lower ABV DIPA like Southern Tier's Unearthly. If you want just hops and little malt, Victory's Hop Wallop is actually very nice.

they sell that at a place locally but i haven't tried it yet. I've tried a wide selection of IPA's and prefer my beer to have a large amount of hops.

Give this one a try if you can find it locally.

"Too extreme to be called beer? Brewed to a colossal 45-degree plato, boiled for a full 2 hours while being continuously hopped with high-alpha American hops, then dry-hopped daily in the fermenter for a month & aged for nother month on whole-leaf hops!!! Our 120 Minute I.P.A. is by far the biggest I.P.A. ever brewed! At 20% abv and 120 ibus you can see why we call this beer THE HOLY GRAIL for hopheads!
    20% abv"

I have her on tap at work. Makes for easy comparison between "The King of Beers" and a decent ale. I still feel that Boulevard is a tad better. It's still good none the less.
