    Ultimate Factories- BMW

    There is a show on the Speed Channel right now going over the process of building Z4s. So far its pretty decent. A little bit of BMW history too. Its killing the time while I'm downloading Top Gear. Check it out.

                  Speed has been running the "Ultimate Factories" marathon pretty much all day. I watched the one on the giant Caterpillar dump truck earlier. Pretty cool stuff, none the less.

                  Anyone catch the RHD one they were assembling?

                      Yeah that is crazy. I would have never guessed that Z4s and X5s were both made in South Carolina, even the ones for Europe's market.

                                  yup they made all the z3's there too. Its a neat place to visit if you get a chance.

                                              They play this at the dealer all the time; I'll have to keep an eye out for the RHD car. Someday I need to take a road trip down there and check it out. I've been to the factory in Germany, but never the one in the U.S. Go figure.
