Only for a split second. Then I contemplate how mentally ill some people out there are. There are minds out there that have gone completely haywire, for a lack of better terms.

And there are so many people who suffer from depression, anxiety, paranoia, schizophrenia and sheer hopelessness. Not get off topic, but I believe that in some cases, medical treatments only worsen the situation.

As far as I know, I haven't really hung out with people who are "off their meds, but I have met a few people who were definitely on meds. With all respect, I have to wonder if they would be more normal if they were not taking medication because you can straight up tell they are taking something when on their meds.

With all that said, someone like this lady should definitely have clinical and medical help.

No I meant, I wonder how someone can do that only for a psplit second cause I realize how ill that person is. So I spend my time actually wondering how someone can be so ill to the point of doing something like that.

There is a plethora of undiagnosed mental illnesses wandering our streets. Stuff like this is going to happen as a result. Until you can regulate who can and can't have children, which is beyond unethical and will NEVER happen, then unfortunate incidents like these will continue to occur.

100% agreed. With a 2 yr old and one more on the way, you have a completely different outlook on the world.

It doesn't matter how sick or ill someone is, causing harm to a child is wrong, no matter the circumstance.

Someone who drowns their child is wrong, a peice of shit, going to hell, etc etc. But if they are mentally ill, its out of their control. Its pretty easy for us to say it doesnt matter, because we're not mentally ill. I think she should spend the rest of her life in an insane assylum if found insane, obviously. But if it were a relative of yours who was the nut who did this, youd show more compassion.
