Gov. incompetence in action: Audi S4 destroyed by tow truck...[Video]
Just got it to work..and seriously wtf? Why didnt they use little roller dollies or someshit. Why did they have to drag it? and not even remove the blocks..
I don't mean to be insensitive to their situation but it seems like a case of letting things get worse than they were. As soon as I were to see my car sitting on blocks, I would contact my insurance company, take numerous pictures and get my car on some kind of temporary wheels asap. The insurance company will reimburse you for shit like that.
I would not leave my car sitting on bricks for any longer than it took to locate some steelies or some shit.
On the same token, some of these tow truck drivers are some of the worse scumbags of the earth.
regardless, they could have paid for it out of their own pocket and the insurance company would have reimbursed them. my vert was in an accident and I had to have it towed to my apt. The insurance company had no problem with reimbursing me for the amount I paid.
Letting a 70K car sit on bricks till wheels come in just doesn't sound right. If I have a 70K car, it's immediately being professionally towed off the street and into a shop.
Actually, what am I saying, I'm that way with my e30.
They said they filed a police report, placed a copy of it under the windshield wiper and reported the damage to the insurance company. I don't know what more an average joe could do.
