    regardless, they could have paid for it out of their own pocket and the insurance company would have reimbursed them. my vert was in an accident and I had to have it towed to my apt. The insurance company had no problem with reimbursing me for the amount I paid.

    Letting a 70K car sit on bricks till wheels come in just doesn't sound right. If I have a 70K car, it's immediately being professionally towed off the street and into a shop.

    Actually, what am I saying, I'm that way with my e30.

    They said they filed a police report, placed a copy of it under the windshield wiper and reported the damage to the insurance company. I don't know what more an average joe could do.

    An that tow truck guy should be castrated.
