          Ummmm, no. It's pretty much the Japanese equivalent of rat rods, it started out with violent biker gangs like 30 years ago. Ever seen Akira? Remember the clowns, and the other biker gangs that were always brawling? Pretty much just like that, and it spilled over into cars, with the object being to take basically normal Japanese cars and make them as crazy, low, loud and outlandish as possible.
