If you're concerned and scenic doesn't factor in, I'd drive the 5 all the way to Bakersfield, then cut over to Barstow and into Vegas on the 15. Flat and boring = safe. :) The roads into Reno are often closed or backed up due to snow...you're crossing a mountain range for crying out loud. You're much better off driving a bit further but having no fears of being stuck.

If you drive your e30 on stairs, you're gonna have a bad time.Comment

That will be the safest route for weather. But bring a cordless drill with a 1" hole saw for the trip. Your brain will swell from the boring ass drive on I-5, and you'll need to relieve the pressure.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

Driving directions to Las Vegas, NV
1,054 mi – about 16 hours 19 mins
The route that Darin and I took would be faster, but I'd be afraid of hitting a lot of snow over the Sierras into Reno.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment
