europeans do not have higher living standards, unless you mean being able to buy good sangiovese cheaper than we can“There is nothing government can give you that it hasn’t taken from you in the first place”

Yeah, some of us have actually served in the armed forces and have spent time in places other than the capitol of fruits and nuts.
Last place I spent time at n the service was Okinawa, guess how many natives we killed on that island and guess what they think of us now.
Speaking of killing Americans for no reason I suppose you were absent the day that those airplanes flew into the buildings. You should also know that less serviceman have died per year in GWB terms than WJC terms.
Your lack of knowledge on anything so far in this thread is extremely sad, you are entitled to your opinion though so keep throwing those beauties out there for everyone to laugh at.

Human Development Index
The UN Human Development Index (HDI) is a comparative measure of poverty, literacy, education, life expectancy, childbirth, and other factors for countries worldwide. It is a standard means of measuring well-being, especially child welfare. The index was developed in 1990 by the Pakistani economist Mahbub ul Haq, and has been used since 1993 by the United Nations Development Programme in its annual Human Development Report.
The HDI measures the average achievements in a country in three basic dimensions of human development:
A long and healthy life, as measured by life expectancy at birth.
Knowledge, as measured by the adult literacy rate (with two-thirds weight) and the combined primary, secondary, and tertiary gross enrolment ratio (with one-third weight).
A decent standard of living, as measured by gross domestic product (GDP) per capita at purchasing power parity (PPP) in USD.
Each year, UN member states are listed and ranked according to these measures. Those high on the list often advertise it, as a means of attracting talented immigrants (economically, individual capital) or discouraging emigration.
1. Iceland 0.968
2. Norway 0.968
3. Australia 0.962
4. Canada 0.961
5. Ireland 0.959
6. Sweden 0.956
7. Switzerland 0.955
8. Japan 0.953
9. Netherlands 0.953
10. France 0.952
11. Finland 0.952
12. United States 0.951

Here is a chart of average life expectancies. Notice where we are in relation to Western European countries.
So much for social healthcare huh?
