    Top Gear rant

Really - is it so hard to release each season on DVD? There is a huge demand. I would buy the complete thing from season one on - why isn't the BBC cashing in on this. Every TV show in the world has a DVD box set - just go look at the TV DVD selection at Best Buy.

Anyway - I don't have the time, energy, or knowledge to play around with torrents (in my software/music pirating days you simply sought out an unsecured server listed on some bulletin board and simply downloaded entire CDs and/or programs). I'm old and don't quite get this whole sharing hundreds of computers to download a single file thing.

Nor do I care - I can afford to buy the real deal if it were offered. In the meantime - if you have all the seasons downloaded and can burn me a DVD copy, I'd love to have it.

    I'm done now.

Agree - plus I didn't see shipping to the USA. Anyone?

Not that I care, of course.

My brother in law Andrew (NitroRustlerDriver) has every season downloaded, good quality versions, too.

I bet if you PM him, and pay for the DVD's, he'd probably be willing to do it for you.

If there are no DVDs out there, there isn't going to be a DVD quality rip.... only from the dish/cable etc...

This is not what I wanted to hear.

I've been searching for Top Gear seasons everywhere for the last 6 months. No wonder I can't seem to find any.

OP, do you know why they arent selling this great show on dvd?

I think he's trying to say that why should it be so ballbreaking to go through all that? Instead of having a cool colleciton of all seasons with special features and shit like that. I think he's got a point as well. I didnt know that they didnt have the seasons on DVD. Rediculous since they know damn well how popular this show is around the globe. Strange eh?

i have every episode of the new series of top gear (12 seasons). there is a torrent for it. unfortunately the first episodes are compressed higher than the newer episodes, so the quality is lower.

If the hosts weren't so full of shit I'd care.

really, as much as I am in support of this show, I don't know that I'd want to own seasons of it on DVD

I'd pay for cable if it and other quality shows were on regularly, but they're not, so fuck that noise. Cable can go fuck itself right up its sorry coax.
Not that I care, of course.

The episodes are being released to the US through iTunes. They're part way into Series 11 at the moment.

I'm curious to see the really old episodes, they had Top Gear on in 1991 so I want to see if they tested E30's!! They're very difficult to find though...
