            the one on the south side of half dome is a climb called snake dyke, my cousin and I did that climb last summer. cool pics

                My school actually printed that entire photo out in 'real-size' and had it displayed in our cafeteria for about 3 weeks.. It was about 6.5 Ft tall... Just walking up to it and looking as closely as possible EVERYTHING was in perfect detail.

                    it was taken with the nikon d2x i believe. but it a collage of pictures all put together, something like 1800 pics, with like a 300mm lens and a 1.7x teleconverter

                      It is actually several images spliced together to create the one mega image. Read the "Info" section.

                              a new app for the iphone was released by microsoft the other day. it's called seadragon, and you can zoom into various gigapixel images using the normal iphone zoom feature. its pretty impressive stuff.
