Not only have we had a fair amount of snow, it's been in the single fucking digits for the last 5 days. We might get up to freezing today! Didn't miss a day of work... or my nephew being born.

It's times like this that I am in love with my $500 Alfa snow car.

I have made it to work on time in the e30. So if you have X3/5 not sure, there is no reason other than you just don't want to go, and that's OK with me.

QFT. I've been blowing the doors off of 4WD pickups and SUVs for days in my e30 on Bridgestone Blizzaks. Snow tires FTW

on my commute home last night, the temps dropped just below freezing, and the brain surgeons at KY DOT had not treated the roads covered with what was left of melted snow. So every bridge was an ice rink, and shortly after that, most of the tarmac was too.

Good times cruising along and then as soon as you hit the overpass, you get that light in the pants feeling!

In a 10 mile stretch - 4 cars off road. 2 were flipped over. 3 of the 4 were 4x4 SUVs, including both rollovers.

                      ASC+t FTW.

But on topic - I had staff on Monday when it was just a forecast asking "What is our snow policy?" My answer: If the State Police or the County Sheriff close the roads, you do not have to come in. Otherwise, you plan ahead, leave early, and drive appropriately for the conditions. I live farther from the office than anyone else. Really not a good career choice to not be there when I can make it in.

Studs on my car plow through snow better than most cars I can think of. It's just CT hasn't had snow at all...just freezing rain bs. There's more snow in that pic than CT has had so far.
