my e30 325i is a POS in the snow
too much torque, and bfgoodrich gforce tires that might as well be made of steel for all the good they do in the snow.

now, give me a 2002 in the snow and i'll run rings around e30's. i drove out of tahoe to kirkwood meadows one fine day in 10" of fresh snow on street tires. car was a snow plow all the way and never skipped a beat.

I cut the coolant tube with a grinder and a cutting disc. Then flattenned both ends for a perfect flat fit with a strap sander. When surfaces mated perfectly, I then chamfrained both ends with a big groove to allow penetration of the weld. Then I filed all excess welding bead and sanded the section. It took about 1 hour.

Its a whopping 8 degrees here in spokane. And had about 3 inches since 7am this morning, haven't looked outside in an hour or so though, was fallin steady when I came inside. Roommate is freaking out because he can't drive his mercury cougar in the snow. Was pretty bitter when the e30 had no issues.

I wish everyone from California would come to that realization and stop moving here.

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

Yes, EVERYONE from california moves there, says the self confessed piece of shit. Ive met a few people from the PNW, who moved here. So I can say the same thing. The #1 reason why people move from CA up to irrelevance is because its cheaper... But its cheaper for a reason.

                              You're a grammar/spelling cop on the internet.

It was shot in Portland, last winter. King 5 (Seattle) just showed the video as part of a news story.
