    Another questionable move by GM...

I am looking at the sports page on Yahoo and see an ad for the new Hummer H2T?...

what the fawk? am i missing something here?
You would figure, in a crisis that they are having, they would release sensible vehicles. Instead another fucking waste.

Think of how much profit margin a hummer has though, people pay a lot of money for h2,h3's and they are cheaply made.

besides are you calling their advertising a questionable move?
Or the fact that they aren't advertising there new reliable cars? and instead a H2.

Also I would assume most sports fans don't care to much and just want a hummer out of the other vehicles. So then its just the crowd they are appealing to in this situation.

It's the H3T, basically a rebadged & bodied Colorado. It's got a small little motor in it. It's not like they designed & built it in the past 2 months. What do you expect them to do, shitcan a vehicle they've had in design & ramped up to build for the past year and a half?

Besides, gas is a buck-forty right now. People will buy it.

And do you want them to just whip up a brand new, energy efficient, safe and fast car for you in the last 3 weeks? Sure, no problem. It usually takes at least 4 years to make a new car from scratch, but just for you, I am sure they could do it.

Advertising is usually bought in blocks. I am sure the ad space was contracted a long time ago. If they don't use it, they still pay for it. Why not advertise what you have, sell what you have, and hopefully make enough money to continue the business so you can make new stuff that will sell better.
