So is your family behind you? How do they feel about the awol thing?

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

Just be respectful of everyone when you turn yourself in. I think they'll appreciate you being a man about it and not hiding.

How come you ever joined in the first place?

i had good recruiters, they would have made a killing as used car salesmen. i thought i was signing up for one thing and it turned out to be something else.

                  good luck dude, seriously

yea, it was kinda stupid of you to go AWOL, but you're owning up to it now, and that gets a little of my respect

go do your time, and move on with life

ill be the odd man out and say that doing a full term in the navy is like a fucking cake walk. i had good recruiters too but i sucked it up and did my term and then got out. this is a sign of how youll handle anything thats difficult in the future.
