Considering I personally know 3 border patrol men who are making close to 90k a year and work 4 days a week because they have a dog with them, its a really good job. I'm sure some of you guys will scoff at 90k but when you live in border towns and Bum Fuck Egypt that's a lot of money.

My neighboor in the apartment complex works for border control, he's even gonna be on that tv show they're launching the pilot of in january.

He pulls in 6 figures and works 4 or 5 days a week. He also knows the bassist for Rise Against and the guitarist from The Toadies and is gonna hook me up with backstage passes :)

I thought about border patrol as it pays well and I like being in BFE but you have to serve 2 years minimum on the US/Mexico boarder before you can even apply for transfer. Me I hate the heat I hate mexico and have no desire to live in the desert or learn spanish. The guy I talked to about it, told me it would take at least 5 years to get back here to NW Mt if not longer. But could be somewhere up along the highline in 4 so thats out for me.
