Anyone download the Windows7 Beta yet?

I bet you it will run most anything. I just I have demanding video and film editing applications that don't play nice - so you always run the OS the software/hardware makers says to run. In my case that XP Pro still.

I'd be up to try it if I knew that the Sony Digital Voice Editor program I have to use for work would run on it. Doubt it though.

I have a good family friend at Microsoft, I'll see if I can just get a copy.

Rats, I have applications that will never run on it. And I think it's too bloated for my older laptop.

Works great, and the gui is a hell of a lot faster then Vista, going to use it as my primary OS from now on.

James, how is it when it comes to compatability? Things like Photoshop, Winamp, FF, etc. work alright?

i've been running the prebeta for a while now as my only OS. i love it.

let me know what you think...I have not been happy with current OS...thinking of swapping out to something else...or go back to old skool windows LOL

The Windows7 Beta is all over the torrent sites, and people are downloading it left and right, and giving it pretty good reviews, so far. It's being more and more hinted at that Microsoft "leaked" the OS onto the web, which seems believable. I'm downloading it right now, I might do a dual-boot install on my laptop and play around with it.
