Haha, I played it so much I got all the achievements. Now I need to download the Operation:Anchorage expansion that came out yesterday.

i got stuck on the rescue from paradise, i got the kids out and was supposed to meet them outside but they are nowhere to be found. I think I have to go to an older save and do this one again.

what causes the red ring in the first place? why does overheating the 360 fix it? (kind of)

any way to maybe prevent this from happening, or it is random?

i just bought a 360 (my first and only) 3 weeks ago, the decent one with the 60gig hard drive, and i want it to last as long as possible.

No way to prevent the rings, and there are 4 different ones that you can get the bad one is the 3 "red ring of death" meaning your 360 has had a "general hardware failure" or core digital failure. MS has extended the manufacturer warranty to three years for this for new 360s. While the three is really bad, if you dont plug in your AV cables you get 4 red lights sometimes 1. When I bought my 360 I bought the retailer warranty for it aswell so you dont have to send it in to MS and wait sometimes 6 months to get a new one.
