    Question for the PC Nerds...

    Netbooks...

    What's the skinny?

I need a more elegant solution for E-mail and general interfacing on the Internet now that it has become a constant necessity...

I can't get shit done sitting here with my notebook...

A little bastard with like a 8.5" screen that I can just walk around with and set down here and there seems like the hot set up but...

What is the hot set up on these?

    Biggest bang for the buck?

Blackberry if all you need is e-mail, otherwise I guess any of the ultrasmall laptops.

There are about 8 options begging for lightweight aerospace wiring retrofit, and ni-lith batteries w/ nitrogen fluffed cells. I bet there is at least .6 oz in the outer lens protector.

Do you think you'll get that much use out of it? More than a reqular laptop?

Yes actually I'm hoping so... I'm forever having to run here and there...

I tend to do like 3 to five things at once... and end up chasing one of the little ones in the middle of that.

the EEPCs are the shit in my opinion as far as the netbooks go. And they have Linux! There's windows versions as well, but the custom linux eepc interface is hot.

Asus EEE's are the bomb shit. They come preloaded with linux, but one of my dudes loaded XP (retarded).

Anyhow, Im considering buying one at the moment.
