As the title states, whats R3Vs views on BlackWater and like organizations?

We have a good mix of people on here , some more informed then others...but whats the general view from some of you guys?

Ive interacted with those guys and they seem to know there shit and love it.
very very dangerous operations from what ive seen.

Most of there operations where security for political leaders. I dont think there that bad. I wish I could kill people and not have to ask permission to do so over the radio....

Don't know too much, but met a few guys, they used to come into the store for supplies to their training center. Would buy a bunch of solid core steel enforced doors and stuff. Before I knew who they were I asked if its ok that theres some minor flaws on the jambs, told me they didn't care cause it was going to get blown up or kicked down.

Don't know the true story about the civilian killings, but if you feel threatened you have to use force right, I don't believe they are trigger happy as shown in the media. Awesome that they can do what they do. Awesome wages and adventure, I'd join.

haven't seen any blackwater guys here in ramadi. we have our own squad that does security detail, and every once in a while i see private contractors from a company called TMG (threat management group). website says they're based out of dubai, IIRC- take away from that what you will...

Well, with the sad state of our US Millitary training, it was only a matter of time til Co.'s came to do the work. Look into the m16a1 to a2, the full auto mode was replaced with triple burst instead of training the troops how to shoot/conserve ammo on full auto weapons.


And, after the Iraq drama they stirred up, they have become much more discreet.

The government is slow and incompetent in general. Takes forever to accomplish anything. The private sector gets things done. Look at any road project or most any project for that matter. Its disgusting how long it takes and how many people are standing around doing nothing with their hands out. Pathetic. Union's have become sickening too.
